today we're doing some simple volcano breaths to help reduce stress, calm our nervous system, and learn how to slow down and be in the moment. these are great for kiddos and families to do together - you can take turns being the 'leader'!
:: volcano breaths ::
inhale : palms together, hands at heart's center, they go straight up and point to the sky while you take a noisy breath in
exhale : hands come apart, trace a long line out and away from your body, until the arms are along your sides and you're ready to repeat. be sure to make a noisy exhale for that exploding volcano!
